Massage Therapy

We have a massage therapist at Northern Beaches Physiotherapy.

Kirsten Todd provides a high standard of massage therapy to either complement our physiotherapy in the rehabilitation from injury or for relaxation.

Gift certificates are available should you wish to give a relaxing massage to a friend.

Paediatric Physio / Treatment of children

Peggy Fisher has 18 years of experience in the assessment and therapy of children with a broad range of developmental problems, including minor coordination problems (i.e. clumsy kids) to the more serious issues arising from developmental delay and cerebral palsy.

Cally O'Hara has a strong interest in paediatrics having worked at the Children's Hospital, Westmead gaining experience in developmental assessment and treatment, paediatric musculo-skeletal conditions, plastering and chest physiotherapy.

It is essential to have childrens problems assessed by a professional specialising in kids and their own problems.

Peggy and Cally work well with children and who enjoy the treatment. The practice has large open spaces so the little ones can receive treatment under the guise of play, which is most effective.

Paediatric physio can help if you have concerns regarding your childs:

• Posture (sway back, winging shoulders)

• Movement or coordination (difficulty holding a pen when learning to write)

• Balance in play

• Gross motor skills or

• Delay in achieving gross motor milestones

Peggy and Cally will be able to show you how to appropriately stimulate your child and where necessary provide ongoing treatment to enhance your Childs movement confidence.
