Owned practice since January 1991 and has worked in Dee Why since 1988. Her first passion was sports
injuries and as such she was the Physiotherapist for Warringah
Rugby Club for 16 years until the arrival of her daughter
Emily in 2004. Scott and Catherine welcomed James into the world in 2007. Cath now continues to enjoy the accurate
assessment and treatment of sports injuries, acute
and chronic neck and back pain including the
Sarah Key method. She has also added
the teaching and use of Pilates techniques. Cath has combined
her vast clinical experience, knowledge and teaching skills
into the development of our unique Physiotherapist
instructed small group Pilates classes. As practice
director, Cath encourages all our physiotherapists to
participate in continuing professional development and
enthusiastically shares her knowledge in our regular staff
in-service programme. |
| Dan
Wheeler |

13 years experience. Dan had completed study in China to further his knowledge and skills of assessment and treatment using acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine in conjunctiomn with his extensive Biomechanical knowledge and traditional Physiotherapy skills.
Dan
joined the practice in July 2004. He offers a complementary
approach to musculo-skeletal physiotherapy,
having completed training in Acupuncture
endorsed by the Australian Physiotherapy Association in
2004. Dan has over 11 years of clinical experience treating
a wide variety of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal complaints
using both the biomechanical approach
of physiotherapy and the more holistic method of eastern
medicine. He has found great success in treating
problems often unassociated with the referring
complaint such as insomnia, digestion, bloating
and lethargy. |

| Cally
O'Hara |

Cally has been part of our team since 2007. Cally plays Premier league Soccer and has had first hand experience with Physiotherpay rehab and so has empathy for the sportsmen wanting swift return to sport and competeition.
Cally graduated
from Sydney University in 2003 and has a strong interest
in paediatrics, acute and chronic neck and back pain,
and sports injuries. Cally has worked at the Children’s
hospital, Westmead gaining experience in developmental
assessment and treatment, paediatric musculo-skeletal
conditions, plastering and chest physiotherapy. She has
a musculo-skeletal background working with manipulative
physiotherapists and has recently added acupuncture to
her repertoire of treatment tools, using it as an adjunct
to treatment in some cases. Cally is also one of our Pilates instructors. |

| Bene
Sloan |

| Bene
brings with her extensive experience in rehabilitation
of hand and elbow injuries with a strong interest in ergonomics.
Bene graduated from Sydney University in 1990 and has
worked at Sydney Hospital Hand Unit as well as in general
practice treating a wide variety of orthopaedic and musculo-skeletal
conditions. She spent 3 years in Mt Hutt, New Zealand
working closely with ski teams treating all sporting injuries and developing comprehensive ankle and knee rehabilitation
programs for their athletes. Bene is one of our Pilates instructors. |

| Peggy
Fisher |

| Peggy
joined the practice in 1999. Peggy is a gentle therapist
with fantastic manual therapy skills. She has extensive
knowledge in the rehabilitation of sports and other musculo-skeletal
injuries. Peggy herself is an extreme athlete enjoying
white water kayaking, rock climbing and snow skiing and
subsequently has a keen interest in sports injuries.
She has 20 years of experience in the physical rehabilitation
and treatment of children. She is fabulous at movement
assessment of children. Peggy is also one of
our Pilates instructors. |
